India Shawls . 2005

Multiple-function Scarves: Developed together with a Master weaver in India. Inspired by the multitude of ways women in Kutch, India wear and use a length of cloth. Woven with traditional Kutchi motifs and processes on handlooms in Bhujodi, a village of Kutch. These shawls are made in small-scale production of wool from South India. The outcome of a project.
